As our Web3 Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for managing Common Goal’s relationships with blockchain projects and build out a web3 strategy that serves Common Goal’s mission to unite the global football community in support of our people and planet. From acting as account manager to partners that operate at the intersection of sports and blockchain technology to researching relevant blockchain use cases and leading on the delivery of our web3 roadmap, you will take holistic ownership of driving the integration of blockchain innovations across Common Goal’s global football for good ecosystem and help position Common Goal as a recognized contributor to web3 supported social change.


  • Research blockchain innovations and identify relevant applications for Common Goal.
  • Collaborate closely with Common Goal’s management, technology advisors and partners on the development of Common Goal’s blockchain technology and product roadmap.
  • Serve as account manager to and support the acquisition of new partners at the intersection of sports and blockchain technology.
  • Provide direction and oversee the day-to-day delivery of Common Goal’s blockchain product roadmap in collaboration with technology partners.
  • Build up a community around and drive collective action with Common Goal’s web3 partners.
  • Engage in on-going exchange with leaders in the tech-for-good movement and represent Common Goal in web3 related events and thought leadership discussions.
  • Inform and grow the organisation-wide understanding of blockchain technology related trends, opportunities and risks.


  • You hold a university degree in a related field (e.g. innovation management, business management, technical engineering).
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience, including in the web3 / blockchain technology space.
  • You are passionate about tech for good innovations and are tuned into the cultural conversation and sentiment around football and web3.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to translate company goals into a product roadmap and oversee its delivery with technology partners.
  • You are a skilled strategic thinker and collaborator who is able to build strong cross-organisational relationships and partnerships that drive technological innovations forward.
  • You are first-rate communicator with the ability to set direction and build community.
  • You love to get things done and thrive on challenging the status-quo.
  • You have the ability to structure and manage your workload independently and effectively.
